once you find a laundry you like just turn up, they will empty the bag in front of you and record each item, you will get a reciept with the cost on. You may find it easier to go every second day and you won't have to take as many clothes with you leaving room for shopping in your suitcase. Sorry can't help you with that area but you will find that nearly evry other shop someone will be doing laundry.
