Air North arr Darwin from DPS 01:15 ( clear customs - very quick in DRW but would not recommend trying to make the 02:30 flight to MEL)
JQ dep DRW to MEL 06:10
Cost JQ return $350pp Air North to DPS return $578.00
= $928 pp inc taxes
Flying time less than 7 hours
Tiger Airways I got $89 all inc DRW - MEL specials at this similar time last year which would make the trip around $760.00 pp MEL -DRW -DPS return.
No overnight accom required.
