Poppies...though they are popular and better if you contact them, they always reply, they are boutique but less than $AUD100 per night, nice pool, free wifi, empty fridge, excellent maintenance, usually no little kids running wild, can order massage and order breaky where you can get jaffles and latte.
If you aren't against moving to Sanur (overseas mags have been promoting as the new chic place for the more mature) you could try Mercure through their web page, La Taverna (though popular with Europenas). My sister and hubby stayed at Puri Ayu...they had some good priced rooms and villas, my sister said for the price it was good though linen could be replaced and staff friendly but needed a few reminders. From memory I booked through the Asia website. There is also Sanur Beach Hotel, large, older, well placed and can get Garuda FF for staying. Up the road, more expensive is Bali Hyatt and another big older place.
The other is that you could try a villa for the six of you.
