I've heard mixed reviews. I think the biggest turn off for a lot of people is probably simply that it is a city. Holidaying in cities isn't everyone's idea of a holiday. I like the thrill of exploring new cities, even better when it is topped off with 2 weeks in paradise (aka Bali)!
I guess it is up to the individual. You have to weigh up discomfort versus thrill of new place. Always good to keep an open mind for possible alternatives, even if you decide against them.
