Wow, I am far from being selfish and I am really sad and sorry that you feel that way. No child at the village even knew they were going to get a teddy so I do not feel bad about them not getting them this month. It had nothing to do with my pleasure of giving them personally myself; it was solely because I especially wanted to gather all of the children together holding their teddies all at the same time so I could take a photo to send to Filo. I thought it would be nice for him to be able to show it to the dear lovely ladies at church who devote their time to make them plus I was also going to have lots printed so each child could have a photo each. As my friend Kelik does not have a camera let alone any spare money to get the photos printed that was the reason why I though of leaving them until our next trip which is in February. When I requested them from Filo there was no time limit on how long it would be before giving them out nor any indication as to who or where. Filo left that entirely up to me to decide who I gave them to in Bali. I believe these teddies have been being given out, since the tsunami hit so I really did not think it would matter.
You are right I am a caring person and that was why I offered to take them in the first place and reimburse Filo for the postage. Plus if Filo didn't mind I had planned on getting some more to take over to give out in Sumatra.
