both for food and for Bali!

For Mexican - you can't go past TJ's IMO. I always get the fajita. It comes out in loads of different plates so it feels as though you're eating wayyyyy too much (probably because you are but what the hell, you're on holidays!).

I also love Kori's, apple crumble - best ever!

Wayan and Friend's - Mie Goreng

We watched the AFL semi finals (in 06 when Freo and WCE were both in) at Ours in Garlic Lane and it was fantastic. Great atmosphere, staff were lovely and the food was quite good. I had a funny banana pancake type dessert which I found was delicious even though I don't like bananas...mmmmmmm must have been the 2 for 1 cocktails (those damn footy games go for hours LOL!)

We also at La Lucciola which was divine and great for a splurge (and the sunset).

And I have to mention my fave for drinks, Uncle Norm's (is it still there?) did the best Lemon Squash's (real lemon!) - so refreshing and after deciding to order a coke because none of the cocktails whet my appetite at Breeze, the bartender (can't remember his name but it was in 2006 so he prob isn't there anymore)asked what kind of things I liked in a cocktail and told me to trust him. I did and he whipped up some concoction of his own and it was THE most delicious cocktail I've ever tasted!

*sigh* god I miss that place.
