We didn't get to experience too many 'good' places to eat. We went last August with a large group and they liked eating at the same places. But here's a few we liked, can't remember the names though.

1- Bubba Gumps - Not flash, but heaps of fun. Went there twice and really enjoyed both the vibe of the place and the food. Great baby back ribs.
2- Stadium Bar - Boring, I know! But the food was pretty good, beer was cold and the footy was always on the tv. Plus the guy that runs the joint is a real laugh.
3- Kopi Pot - Loved this place. Simple, fairly cheap and really nice setting. Sitting under that big tree. Plus the satay chicken sticks are wicked! Only place that we could find that sold Storm Beer. Which I enjoyed more than Bintang.
4- Can't remember the name of this joint?? Sorry. It was a flash looking place over looking the beach just up from Hard Rock, at beach end of Poppies, heading towards Jayakarta. Lounge style seats, with red cushions. Really nice food. Great drinks. Nice wine selection, but more expensive that most.
5- Again can't remember the name - Walk out of the Jayakarta on the beach side, turn right, about 300 - 400meters. Big open place, have pool tables. Really good food and awesome vibe. Good to eat outside.
6- The place that sells the drinks in the massive coconut shells. Sorry, don't know the name. But did a really good steak.

As far as Mexician, I hated Poco Loco's. I love my Mexician, but this joint was less than average. Heard TJ's is way better??

If anyone can help me with these names that would be great. We've got a list of places we want to visit from this forum.
