I have one and so does my dad, we are with Telstra. He took his with him in may this year (he bought one before they were released here from os) and it did work. We went to Japan in July and it didnt work there?? But not so sure about Optus. I am taking my old phone with e just in case, which is what I did for Japan and lucky as the iphones didnt work and after spending 30 mins on the phone to Telstra trying to work it out, we were told no not supported in Japan. So I pulled the old phone out, inserted Sim card and we had mobile!!
