Gidday, my wife had a tooth implant done by Dr Guizot in Denpasar last year, a temporary crown was fitted and we returned this year for her permanent crown. We were told last year that the implanted post needs to 'knit' in with the jaw bone for a minimum of three months so that when they put the permanent crown on everything is hunky dory. My wife tells me that as she had to have a tooth extracted before the post was drilled in and the whole procedure took about two hours and it was a little uncomfortable but not overly painful. I've had three dental bridges fitted in the last two visits to bali by Dr Rudy at Kuta Galleria and I'm extremely happy with the results. These procedures only take a week in between visits, i.e prep work, impressions taken and temporary crown fitted then return in a week for the porcelain bridge to be fitted.
These three bridges would have set me back 12 grand here in Oz but it only cost me 2 and a half in Bali and paid for the holiday!
