You and the kids are going to love the Patra. Stayed here many times as recently as 8 weeks ago. Lovely quiet area, huge rooms, very classy hotel.
Catch a taxi to Pepitto's supermarket - probably around 1.5km from hotel - too far to walk with small kids. Prices are excellent and i found them only very slightly dearer than going to Carrefour - probably only a difference of 1 to 2 cents per item if that.
