Stayed here last year. To get to the beach you have to walk down the road a bit and through the yard of another accomm place to get access to their stairs. It's probably only 300m or so to the top of the stairs so it's not that far.

The stairs are a killer! So steep...! Fine going down, but back up was a mission - I had to stop half way to get my breath back!

Cute little cabins, outdoor bathrooms which I love, very peaceful and quiet. My boyfriend surfed so he was happy - I don't so I took a whole heap of DVD's I bought in Legian and relaxed for a few days (although they do have some DVD's for you to use, but I had all the new ones). Breakfasts were AMAZING!! French crepes...so good. We both reckoned it was the best meal in our 2 weeks in Bali & Lombok! Lovely owners too - Sundaram picked us up from Kuta himself.

Can't really remember how much we paid, think it was about AUD$80/night.

Oh another thing - not much in the way of food, so take some snacks! You can order Thai through a local lady down the road and it is delivered to your cabin (we did this for dinner one night - it was yummy), but you can't get food from Sundaram's except for breakfast. Otherwise you can get basic stuff from the surf huts on the beach, or you will have to drive somewhere.
