There were a couple on the beach side of the main road just south of Hardys (ie opposite side of road to Hardys). We had one made from lovely ikat at Nogo just north of Hardys (look for the loom out the front). We also got a couple of cheap and cheerful ones in Sidhu market for 17,000 and 20,000. I might have the business card for one of them somewhere.
We caught the scoot over. It took about 30min. Monkey #1 is the speed demon and she loved it. If the sides are up you can get a little damp.
If your kids can swim and climb steps without toppling over on a regular basis they'll be fine on Lembongan. We had no worries with Monkey #1 (who is also a fish when it comes to water). You might even get a chance to just sit down and read a book by the pool! Where are you staying?
