We stayed here for a week in 2006 and loved it. Sure not in lush gardens like a lot of places in Kuta/Legian but is on the beach. Pool not huge but big enough for size of the place. Staff exceptional, we stayed in room 15 which is a studio and has windows looking directly out to sea and the islands in front. Water is lovely, we swam there from the beach a lot. Rooms have a porch area outside complete with ceiling fan, have their own massage area as well.
Not a long walk into town, about 10 minutes, tip take a torch for coming back at night. Would not hesitate to stay there again. Karen
