While I understand completely your wife's nervousness if going back after the bomb; we found the peace, tranquility and the beauty of the people in Seseh to be a fantastic reinforcement of the ability for Bali to not only survive, but for their culture and way of life to thrive. We barely left the village for a week, and when we did we couldn't wait to get back again. It is utterly peaceful and charming. Make sure you try lots of Agung's food - she is an absolute star in the kitchen! I am jealous! Might go see what airfares are available next month, lol.
