Candi Beach Cottages twice and loved it both times it has two beautiful swimming pools and lush gardens, the beach out front was great at low tide, hubby and kids swam there a lot, at high tide to rough.
I had read a lot about Shangrila so we went and had a look, I am so glad we didn't stay there it was all cement with the smallest pool ever, and the beach out front was no better than Beach Cottages.
Candi Beach Cottages was to far out for us with 2 kids to walk into town but it's only a couple of minutes by car and we didn't find it an issue at all.
Last time I wanted to stay at Kubu Bali Bungalows, it looks really nice, very Bali and lots of character, but hubby wanted to stay on the beach. Also the water garden hotel is beautiful.
