Staying at BGH and have just had acupuncture treatment at EVE's across the road from BGH. I have a lot of problems with right shoulder and after being in constant pain for last few weeks, tried massages, pain killers, heat, cold, water jets etc.etc. and finally got so fed up with the pain tonight I plucked up the courage to call in at Eve's after having picked up a leafllet while out walking. I was seen straight away by the owner of the business and within a couple of minutes I was upstairs, face down, describing pain and general area. I was shown the sterile needles all packed in sealed packs and within minutes had a number of needles inserted at different spots on my shoulder, back, upper and lower arms. She definitely hit the spot and for a few minutes the pain was excruciating on one of the needles. But shortly it subsided and I had relief for the first time in weeks. I guess i was on the table about half an hour, she would adjust or turn the needles and the pain just disappeared, I honestly couldn't even feel the pricking of the needles. After a while the needles were removed and I had half an hour of the strongest and best massage I have ever had, from another member of the staff. I'm to go back for another couple of treatments over the next few days and I'm feeling no fears or trepidation whatsoever, quite looking forward to it in fact.I've also talked my partner into coming for a massage tomorrow too. Highly recommend this place, and they list a whole lot of varying traetments, ear candles, acupressure, detox, etc. as well as conventional stuff.
