Yes the Sanur Beach walk is fantastic.
It goes way beyond the Hotel Sanur Beach heading south, past the Mercure and down to a georgeous little stretch of beach with some lovely beachside restaurants, nothing flashy mind you but the food is superb and very cheap. There is a particular spot called "Nyomans Bar" (aka the S&S&S) which is Sanurs equivelent of Kutas S&S where many forumites meet. There is a lovely eatery next door to Nyomans called Kesuma where the tables are set up on the sand just like at Jimbaran Bay only the seafood is half the price. It's like taking a trip back in time and is reminisent of how things were back in the 70s and 80's.
