Sorry to hear about your experience at the Patra. We had a similar experience. We spent the first 7 nights at the Melasti - was in a suite room there - could not fault my son's bed - very comfortable - then we went to the Tegal Sari - again could not fault it. Did not get to the Patra until 5.30 pm (check in time was 2 pm). We were travelling with another 2 families so had requested rooms close to each other. Again booked a suite room. Told our room was not ready but we could have a room in another building - at this stage we did not know the layout so we declined the offer. After an hour waiting in the foyer we went back to check on our room - getting hungry now. Told it is still not ready and will be 15 minutes (different person at the reception - found if you blink you do not see the same person). Complimentary soft drink (wow). Another hour later we then see another different person. Room still not ready and again got offered a room in another building - this time they gave us a map - building was next to our friends so we said OK. Then had to send search party out for bags - they were put in our friends room. After 2 1/2 hours we did not get time for a shower before going out to tea. Not impressed. Also found Patra catered for the Japanese more so if you are Aussie not as well looked after. All I can say is that after the Melasti, Tegal Sari and Safari Park we would never stay at the Patra again.
