I too go through this and have been diagnosed with Benign Vertical Positioning! Its caused through "rocks in your ear" as my specialist said but its like crystals that stick to the canal of your ear. I have to take stimotol for a couple of weeks then it goes. It can reoccur again though. Scarey stuff, first time I got it I thought I had a brain tumour!
