i was at the melasti last month, we had a room opposite the figure 8 pool which is nearest reception.This one had both a hand held shower in the tub as well as a shower recess next to it. I have stayed at the jayakarta last year and both our rooms only had one in the tub,I dont know about their other rooms. The balekas rooms vary greatly from the old to the very new rooms and again I think they had both .Hope this helps.
