Let me start by saying thanks for all the responses, we have used Asia Rooms previously and never had an issue and would still recommend them even after this experience I beleive that the issue lies entirely with the Aston Management as when I questioned other people booking in the story we had first been given changed.

I think that they have overbooked and possibly because we paid less for the room through Asia Rooms than some of the other customers we were the ones that drew the short straw.

I still have a photocopy of the original booking and the confirmation we received from Asia Rooms a few days before much as they wanted to take it I will also be altering the original to reflect the actual days we stayed not the seven that we payed for close to a $1000 dollars not much I guess by Aussie standards but still a reasonable sum of money.
