Hi Ollie, Yes it happened to me when I returned home from Bali 4 years ago. Actually started out as a small sore on the shin part of my leg.I also used Betadine etc. nothing seemed to heal it. When I returned home it was getting larger so I went to my GP and he said it was a ringworm, probably caused from the massage mats or sarongs the ladies on the beach use when getting a massage.!!! It took ages and I mean AGES several months before it healed. Consequently I don't have massages on the beach any more.
