Yes they are separate. If you are travelling with qantas they will issue u with a voucher for the shuttle service other airlines $8.00 charge. Go "Google" type in Perth Airport and then click onto "to and from the airport" then click airport transfers .... that will give u all the info u need... Yes u can buy duty free when u arrive at Perth International.... Cheers E
