Check in doesn't open until 3 hours prior to the flight, so you can't offload your luggage and move upstairs to where the lounges are.
Like the others have suggested, either try and get a late check out (often subject to availability unless you pay for another night) or simply, leave your luggage at the hotel and go out for dinner before leaving for the airport.
Re taking foodstuffs into Bali. We always declare which we did this year and not a problem... it was quicker than the other queue and we was out in a flash.
