There is no problem taking your foodstuff in, it is usually only Australia that has strict quarantine laws, so your packaged stuff will be fine, if you run out, or forget something, a taxi to Pepito's supermarket in Tuban(where a lot of ex-pats shop)will be a great place to stock up.
The airport is quite big and busy for the late flights and of course you can use the flight lounges for a price! I prefer the Premier Lounge.
