My nephew went with them from Melbourne to Darwin the other week - arrival Darwin about 2am. Once we found them at airport,argued over $33 extra per kilo over 15kgs (unless one notifies and pays estimation >72 hours prior to going...difficult when ticket booked <72hours) - the extra also includes carry on...by the way the checkin chick got into lather over how to do a receipt for excess when the printer didn't work...not allowed to take food or drink onto plane but not hints on what to expect to be able to buy...then we got his report...LOL, rolling on floor...Jet* looks chic!
Did do some price comparisons other week for Melbourne Singapore return on same days using Lion, Jet*, Singapore and Qantas...Lion cheapest but alot of travel hours and transits, Singapore most expensive and Jet* and Qantas only $6 difference on a return once Jet* extras were estimated. Concluded Qantas best value and can make better use of the FF which is also potentially valuable.
