it is a great place to visit.lots of markets we stayed at the indra regent hotel large markets across the road and under hotel.theres the MBK shopping centre 8 floors maybe more shop till you drop,on top floor restaurants sizzlers was our favourite not here at home anymore.
patpong night markets good to visit but they are near the girlie bars.
theres carrefore like in bali,china town has good night markets and also shops open at night.
personally i thought it was a bit expensive compared to bali prices but the variety is different.
enjoy your trip if you can go on the bridge over the river kwai tour it is a great day out.
