flown both and no complaints either way except when you book any time except low season the price difference is minimal.
Jetstar seats are comfortable as the planes are newer.
I would fly garuda everytime, except if i picked up a cheap flight off season with jetstar as garuda is a full service airline and by the time you add food and drinks to the jetstar flight it adds up dearer than garuda anyway and the garuda flights (from melbourne) arrive in bali mid arvo and jetstar arrive late at night.
