there are western people in Bali, married to locals, and who speak fluent Indonesian, that would love to have any sort of job there. There are also thousands of locals, often university educated, who also would love to have a job there. There are heaps of experienced hospitality workers who are unemployed, including 'public relations'. Indonesia does not employ a foreigner into a job that a local could do (well mostly anyway, hence the expense of a working visa).
As I said before, save up your money and stay for a few months. Forget about trying to fund your holiday while in Bali. In all likelihood, others who live there need any work going more than you.
