You are not recommending a travel agent but putting forth your own services/business to potential customers.
Whether you post to just one person or not, others will read the post too.
Just as Nicky did at first on the forum.
Now if forum members choose to recommend her services then it's a recommendation or giving information (providing they get no benefit from it)
The forum though was initially used as "take off" point.
Self promotion or advertising will provide you with business and usually a monetary flow on or gain/benefit.
