That was a great JBR. We are returning to Bali in 20 days, my youngests on and I went last year but my husband and older son missed out due to my husband having cancer and son decided to go to QLD with him, so this will be a well awaited trip for them as they haven't been for 3 years. So nice you scattered your brother in laws ashes over the beach at Kuta. We had our Wills done 2 months ago and I have put in mine that I am to be scattered over Legian (thought that would be a good excuse for the boys to go back to Bali together as this will probably be the last trip that we all do together as the boys are getting older now).
Sounds like you all had a great time and a great reunion.
