charge you what ever taxes/fuel levy apply the day you ticket. That is not negotiable be it with Travel agent or direct with airline. Huge differencebetween a fare staying the same and the additional taxes that accompany it.
You might want to talk to them again as the new levy details were only released Australia wide at 5.14pm yesterday so all action with regard to it effective as of this morning.
