Booking at the last minute can be fun but also very stressful.
My sister and I decided last Monday how much fun it would be to go to Bali just like that, by Wednesday we had convinced our mother and sister and purchased our tickets, flying out in about 4 weeks, but finding our accommodation was not so easy!
After about a million hours on the computer, we have booked into Saren Indah near the monkey forest Ubud for 3 nights, and Legian Beach Hotel for 6 nights.
For those of you booking direct with hotels if their web site says they are full don't believe it, contact them direct or check with a travel agent before you give up.
Saren Indah looks good, we are hoping it is surrounded by lush gardens and not other buildings, does any one know, it's hard to tell if their web site has clever photos that make it look more lush than it is ? its next door to Laka Leke resturant.
Legian Beach Hotel is so far out of my normal budget that my head spins when I think about it! so I've decided not to think about it and just enjoy those gorgeous pools. They are gorgeous aren't they?
