Accommod in Canggu and Uluwatu Area?

Looking for nice, comfortable accommodation in Canggu - Echo Beach area. Walking distance to beach would be great at around AU$60 per night. We would like to stay 2-3 nights.

And, what about things to do and see, and good places to eat?

Also, looking for the same thing around Uluwatu area.

Is it best to go by taxi or hire a driver to travel to these areas?

Going mid October for 14 days.
