We returned in November from a year working in Bali. My husband had a work permit. It is unbelievably complicated and expensive. It actually cost us money, even though he was paid more than the Indonesians in the company (but nothing like an Australian wage). We lived very modestly. But would we do it again? In a heartbeat!!!
