International Licences go, they are obtained from your State motoring office (NRMA, RACQ etc) prior to leaving Australia. You will need 1 passport sized photo and about A$25.00, and you will be given an International Licence to drive ONLY the vehicles you are currently licenced to drive in Australia.

A word of warning... unless the laws in Indonesia have been changed, a foreigner cannot legally sign any legal document, so technically it is NOT legal to hire any vehicle at all whilst on a holiday (tourist) Visa.

At all times wear a helmet, nothing like a bare head on a motor bike to attract the attention of the Police on a balmy summers day in Paradise!
