I stayed at a place called Hotel Pelangi. Fantastic place on the beach, not expensive. Great horizon pool too. The staff are tremendous. Before that I stayed next door at what I think was the Bali Holiday resort. Didn't like it - they allow hawkers onto the grounds of the hotel, the walls and beadheads were mouldy, it was a very dim and dark place. (transferred to Pelangi without paying any more than I would have at the resort)
