In sideman, a/c not really needed always, but with a young one (our son was 3 at the time) it probably would have been nicer for him to go to sleep. We are from a cool climate, so he does tend to feel the heat. If all else failed, we just jumped in the pool!
We have not been to Amed in October - I think it will be dry then as the wet season does not really start until December. January can be pretty oppressive
