and yes, this is the only way to do it, or you end up spending 24hrs approx going south, then doubling beck up the coast and their is always delays along the way. I rather have an afternoon in Darwin than in an airport rushing around. When are you going and what part of Cairns are you from? I'm in Kewarra Beach.
