I agree with your advice to others who are thinking about travelling alone and who may have concerns, just do it! I also never felt unsafe when travelling alone in Bali and have always had a great time. It's good to be your own boss and do things as you please without haveing to work in a schedule with others. It's not hard to find others to have a chat to as many people do travel by themselves.
