climb Mt Batur for the sunrise. these days it should be beautiful (although i am still asleep at that time). ive done it before and it really is a treat. highly recommended.
agree with the jatiluwih suggestion.
there is also a paved walkway in ubud that runs along the top of the gorge with the river below. well worth doing in the morning or late afternoon when the light is good for photography.
