Hi hope this helps you out a bit. We had a visit back to Bali in 6yrs. We went to the orphanage in Jln veteran no 1 Denpasar bali. The Hindu orphanage address jl trengguli 80 penatih denpasar. Tel 0361-461781. They had about 220 children ranging from 18 mths to 23years old. We bought rice and powdered milk and we had a heap of clothes for all ages. Alot of the children were at school when we went but there were approx 50 children there at the time we visited they showed us certain areas of the complex and the children sang to us in 3 different languages it was loverly and we also took pictures of the all and showed them after they love photos. If you get to go there have a look at were they hang there washing out ! One of the older girls climbed onto a roof to get to the clothes line unreal. When we go to Bali we alway take cash and I usually put it in envelopes of $200. Only take large notes as you dont get as much for 5,10,20. I only take the card to use in case of an emergency or to buy duty free before we go. In bali they have waist wallets that can go under your shorts and if you perspirer your money does get wet we previously had a callico one that we bought in the travel section in a major dept store but I find these are better and it wasnt dear. Dont take too many clothes you can get plenty over there. Just take sunscreen because it quite dear over there. Spending money is hard to say depending on what you plan on doing ? Also if you drink heaps of alcohol and how much you plan on spending on clothes. They have great leather jackets made to measure had 2 made last year they were actually cheaper than the one I bought 10yrs ago and it was a coloured leather. Dont forget to go to the bakery in carrefour great cakes. Also the reflexology on the same level as the supermarket 1hr foot massage for 35.000 rup. they do a great job. Hope you have a great time. We have still 5 mths to go !!!
