Hi Katy, we stayed for 5 nights on Lembongan last year with children roughly same age as yours. We stayed at Villa Rumah Kami wwwdotvillarumahkamidotcom which is on Chelegimbai between Jungabatu and Mushroom.
We regularly snorkelled off the playgrounds area - we launched ourselves from the cave just below Mutiara Villas (this is a beautiful place to stay - we did inspection on one of our walks). Japanese owner with Balinese wife. wwwdotmutiara-villadotcom Not expensive and the rooms are loft rooms with queen bed down below and loft that the kids could sleep in with a view of the stars at night. We loved it and would stay there next time. From memory rooms were about $70/night and the views were awesome - check the website.
You will have a lovely time there, relaxing, surfing (as my kids did) and enjoying the peace and view.
