Also there for 2 stays in November last year - certainly not flash - but a nice feel to it - good location and the pool bar staff in particular are amazing - there are many guests from Germany/Austria - it is owned by an Austrian - and they were translating conversations between us from our English to their German and back again.
We found the pool fine but the hotel wasn't full.
We had a standard room on our first stay (queen bed) - they are in a little courtyard at the back (street side) of the hotel - when we returned we had a superior room (king bed) - these are in a row between the pool and the restaurant on the beach end.
We would probably go for the standard rooms again if we stay there.
Like Cath - stress this is NOT a party type hotel at all - to us it was like a little oasis of calm amongst the bigger, flashier, noisier places on that section of beach. It suited us down to the ground but it is certainly not for everyone
