According to the AFR (Australian Financial Review) Qantas is to totally change and relaunch its FF program in June. Apparently they will move to something like the Air NZ Airdollars scheme. On Air NZ you earn airdollars, which you can spend on any flight like real dollars. There are NO blackout days. You can top up your airdollars with real dollars.
It's a good system - the only disadvantage is that you'll need more travel to get free flights.
