You have to go in and out of customs and Imigration as there is no Transit lounge.You will need about 2 to 3 hours to change flights if it is very busy but it is not as difficult as here in Australia.We are doing the night flights both ways which give 6 hrs on the way over and 4 hrs on the way back in transit. The LCCT has resturants and a few shops and cafes so its not too bad to wait around in also we could on the way over go into KL for a few hours if we wanted(not much open at that time in te morning)but probibly not bother.If you are looking at the return from Bali Flight with only about an hour to change to the Coolangatta flight you will not have enough time to get off and check in again.
