In February this year, I decided that I wanted to fly to Bali from Sydney. I checked the QFF site and there were seats available on most flights that month. I chose a flight leaving two days later and I was airborne in a Jetstar seat.
If you want to see the amount of taxes etc you have to pay, why not choose any available QFF seat and go through the whole process of booking a QFF seat. Stop just before you have to type in your credit card details. You will be able to see the exact amount of taxes etc that you will have to pay as well as the number of QFF points required.
