my hubby and I stayed in alam room 3210 2 years ago it over looked the smaller of the 2 pools, this room was great, end of a corridor so no corridor noise. It was on the first floor which gave heaps of privacy. The construction noise should'nt be a problem for rooms overlooking the pool. The family rooms (I think) are on the side of the construction. The larger pool is still very close to the Alam rooms. The Kul Kul is great, fantastic breakfast. I hope this helps, enjoy your stay.
