We have stayed at the hotel 4 times over the past 2 years and can highly recommend this place. We have never stayed at the suites but the hotel is much better located being only a 5-10 minute walk to the beach and the boardwalk along the waterfront down to Sanur. To me the suites are a little isolated being on the main road with nothing around them.Opposite the hotel are a number of good eating places, small convenience stores, and an honest money changer. At the end of the road (near the beach) is a temple where many ceremonies take place, which is always an interesting and colourful sight.
The hotel rooms have been recently renovated and are looking good. The ground floor rooms are only a few steps out your front door and into the pool.We generally stay in a courtyard suite which has a large bedroom and a dining/lounge room with a large desk area as my husband generally needs to work several hours each day.Internet is available in the rooms at a reasonable rate (either hourly or 24 hourly).
Breakfast is plentiful with the usual choices of Asian, Indonesian, and egg stations.
Taxis down to the main shopping area of Sanur are cheap, but the hotel runs a shuttle bus between the hotel, suites, Hardy's supermarket and Bonsai cafe.
The hotel also organizes various activities throughout the week, such as cooking classes, tour to night markets, dress up in traditional costume for photos(you supply the camera),morning walks etc.
As you can see, we find the hotel meets our needs very well. Hope this helps.
