it's so much fun, but so much stress trying to figure out where to stay isn't it!
Sorry I can't help with the Rambutan Suite, but last year at Alam Jiwa we were in an upstairs room with no air-con and as I said our son was very sick, so although we were happy to get to Alam Shanti and air-con he still survived with out it for two nights.
Our rooms at the other Alam hotels where huge with really high ceilings so the heat escapes easily, Alam Indah looks the same, if I was you I would grab it, although I prefer air-con I would go with out rather than stay some where else.
